Albany Leadership proudly announces that we are a recipient of the J.M. McDonald Foundation Grant!
Our goal with this grant is to provide identified students with financial, academic, and social/emotional support in obtaining college credits while they are still at Albany Leadership. Albany Leadership focuses on college preparation and career readiness for our students. Some of which are from underserved communities. We look not only at the academic needs of our students but also the social/ emotional needs of our students. We are proud of our staff of school counselors, social workers, and home school coordinators who make it possible for us to know and to provide support for the whole student.
This grant will allow us to continue our work in an impactful and sustainable way by providing our students with the opportunity to earn college credit. We hope that all of our seniors will have the opportunity to earn their first two years of college credits before graduating from ALH.
