On Friday, ALCS conducted Cohort Meetings. Each grade level in our school joined together in the Student Union to regroup and refocus as well as discuss school achievements, culture and challenges we need to address and overcome.
For this meeting, Ms. Cook, our CEO and School Principal, gathered with our girls and had conversations about the expectations our staff has for them and what needs to be done to keep our students on track. ALCS is an academy of excellence, and we want nothing more than to see our girls thrive and succeed.
Additionally, during these meetings, students were given certificates for their achievements thus far in the year. We also had our school counselors, Ms. Lewis and Ms. Kamer talk about college and what next steps need to be taken. Mr. Patterson also joined in on the conversation with our Freshman class.
