At Albany Leadership Charter High School for Girls we prepare, empower, and encourage our students to make the transition towards postsecondary education because we believe higher education should not only be attainable for girls but should be equitable in providing opportunities for their future success.
At Albany Leadership, equitable education for our girls means fostering a love for learning and leadership, setting high standards, and eliminating false gender stereotypes by encouraging our girls to excel in STEM-related courses.
At Albany Leadership, we provide equitable education by providing smaller and safe class sizes, as well as college courses and experiential learning opportunities like internships.
At Albany Leadership, we know that equitable education means addressing the whole student, and outside of academics, we provide Social and Emotional learning programs, a food pantry, and school uniforms for students in need.
