Services for ALH’s Community

As a result of the covid-19 Pandemic, our school has been diligently working to ensure that we are still able to provide services to our community at large. Although our building has not been fully open, it is our priority that we cater to the needs of the students inside and outside of the school environment. The services we provide include: Food Pantry, Meals, and Hygiene Products.

Food Pantry

Albany Leadership has had a Food Pantry for our students and families to utilize for years. We continue to utilize our food pantry throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. For those in need of use of Albany Leadership’s Food Pantry, please call 518-694-5300.

Meals 

As a school that caters to mainly inner city youth, we realize that many of our students rely on school breakfast and lunch to eat throughout the day.  During the social distance order we knew it was our duty to still be able to provide those in need (families, friends, students, etc.) with meals. Children under the age of 18 have the opportunity to collect meals offered by Albany Leadership Monday-Friday from 11:30AM-1:00PM.

Hygiene Products

Albany Leadership also had a Hygiene Drive to benefit students before summer vacation.  We accepted items such as deodorant, toothbrushes, feminine care products, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, and anything else that may aid in one’s personal hygiene. Donations can still be dropped off at Albany Leadership Tuesday-Thursday from 9:00AM-2:00PM.
